Called San Leandro CDJR early Friday evening and got lucky--Rick Martinez answered the phone! Rick was super knowledgeable about the used Rivian I was looking at. After we hung up, he went to the lot and took a video of the truck for me to answer a bunch of questions I had. I appreciated so much that this dealership didn't play games with hidden add-ons, fees, or services, making it easy to finalize the deal, including financing, on Saturday morning. Sunday morning I flew into Oakland from San Diego. Even though it was his day off, Rick went above and beyond, even picking me up at the airport. After enjoying a cup of coffee, I was in and out of the dealership in a matter of minutes--the truck was perfect. I can't recommend Rick Martinez and his team enough for anyone considering buying a new or used car.

I appreciated the fact that everything was upfront –they didn’t add on a bunch of nonsense fees or accessories or try to pressure me into any services I didn’t really need. Contacted Rick Friday evening, concluded the deal over the phone on Saturday and flew up from San Diego to pick up the next day. Delivery and handoff could not have been easier. I highly recommend you go see Rick Martinez if you’re looking to buy, sell, or trade your car! Five stars all the way!

Most of the staff were welcoming and i love the new look. My service advisor Steven, hats off to you, you really impressed me. You gave me a heads up at the beginning of possible delays but said you will try your best and rise to the occasion. You kept me updated and when you missed my call, you called right back. He said they lost money but the all say that and I was promised a charger for the house because I bought an ev and I also just missed the carb incentive! I haven’t got anything good to say about finance and for the manager I wouldn’t have bought a car if it wasn’t for him! I still don’t know what I bought! I also wish I could get free charge.

Most of the staff were welcoming and i love the new look. My service advisor Steven, hats off to you, you really impressed me. You gave me a heads up at the beginning of possible delays but said you will try your best and rise to the occasion. You kept me updated and when you missed my call, you called right back. Truck was delivered within the same day. This is a great look for the service team and I hope this is the new standard, 5 stars to the SLCJD team!

Wish I could give a 0 Star rating, because that’s what they’ve earned. I purchased new Jeep Wrangler in October from San Leandro, had to bring it back in for service when the rains began in December, since the Jeep has several leaks during rain. Very evident from videos I provided, and from the vehicle itself during the rainstorm when I brought it in for service. Service advisor Anders, the self proclaimed Jeep Whisperer advised me to put a tarp on it since nothing is wrong with the Jeep. Refused to document his knowledge. Matt, the service manager, at least listened to my concern and said they’d look into it, as well as reassigned me a new service advisor. Alex, new service advisor, promised to look into it, called me a couple times during the week with updates. On Christmas Eve he called to come pick it up since they were unable to locate a leak. I was baffled by this finding. When I arrived for pickup, I signed the paperwork and the Jeep was delivered. When I went to leave, I noticed the Jeep was sopping wet, even though the paperwork states it was dry. I returned to the service desk, called Alex to come inspect and that is when lies became clear. He refused to change to paperwork to state the wet findings, instead attempting to create a plan where I tarp it to isolate the leak during rain. I saw where this was going, so I departed and called Jeep Customer Care on my drive him from the dealer to create a case. If you want to be neglected and lied to, go to San Leandro Jeep service. I learned the hard way. Shady folks over there unfortunately, they fooled me. Jeep Customer Care directed me to another dealership (Cardinale Jeep) and they found a leak within 2 hours. It is not fixed yet, still leaks, but they are honest at least.

A few months ago I returned to this dealership for my 3rd vehicle purchase. Always pleased in the past. This time I traded in my beautiful 2021 mustang gt with only 30k I traded in for a jeep 4xe wrangler. What a mistake this has been. Problems with it right away. As soon as I brought the vehicle back the sales staff were so rude to me and my mother I was disgusted. Admiral you have no customer service skills At all. I was told to return to discuss a buy back then they find the motor was blown and we're trying to hold me accountable. They have had the jeep for over 6 weeks longer than I have had it and are only just now getting my approval for a new motor. Meaning it was not my fault I was sold a messed up jeep. I am making huge payments on a vehicle that is xxxxx. Probably will be another 3 weeks until I get it back. I want SAN LEANDRO JEEP to give me a buy back with your rebates xxxx I don't care I deserve a new jeep for the money im paying. Another thing I wanted a stick shift but none were shown to me and they have plenty of manual trans jeeps. I'm disgusted with how they treated me and my mother I don't know what to say. Wish I had something good to say about this dealership I have been coming here for years........til now.
